Dry Tortugas model cannon and wood carriage. This is our most authentic and fanciest carriage design. It is made to closely resemble actual 1600-1700's pirate ship cannon and carriage design. The concrete barrel is steel reinforced and the trunnion mounts are hand fabricated/welded, and painted. There is over 75 hours of metal fabrication and woodwork in making this model. The wood carriage is constructed of pine and is held together using rugged structural screws and coated in a high quality polyurethane stain to seal it from the elements. Everything we make is designed for longterm outdoor use and made to withstand Florida weather. The total weight is approximately 175lbs. Total length is 4'0".
